This program caused my surface to run warmer and my fan to run all of the time. Took me a while to figure out the problem.
Stopped using it and went back to Overdrive and everything is good. Tried again latter and problem repeated. Other than better support for multiple libraries did not see much of an advantage. Hope they don't phase out Overdrive until they where does libby download files it.
Nothing but a splash logo after several restarts. Shame because this app is a favorite of mine on android. Luckily, Overdrive still works but it's such a step back.
I really hope this isn't dead. I am hoping that someone looks at the reviews for this app and decides to make a change to it. The experience is basically the same on Android, I open the app, a simple setup chat determines library and asks for your card. So far I had no problem borrowing an audiobook, ebook and a magazine. I didn't encounter any performance issues, it works great with Toronto Public Library, the reading interface is well designed and my reading positions from the Android app were maintained.
Were all of these negative reviews even for Libby? Perhaps some major problems were resolved in the last few weeks. Well I am not sure what is going on with other users since I just downloaded this on my Windows computer and sinc'd it up with my IPad.
